Let Us Kneel Before The LORD
Psalm 95:6 tells us, “Oh, come let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! On Sunday, January 24, we did just that! As a congregation, we spent time on our knees before God in prayer at the conclusion of the sermon. What a powerful expression of worship we all encountered. The Holy Spirit filled the place. After both services, I had many conversations on the patio and via email, text, and Facebook messages. So many in our congregation shared about their time with God while they were on their knees.
One member said he was sitting next to a gentleman who has had two knee replacement surgeries in recent months, but when he saw this gentleman immediately get down on his knees without hesitation, he was overwhelmed. Another member said she’s had bad knee pain for several months and was concerned about getting on her knees, but she shared with me that when she got down on her knees, she didn’t feel the pain. Another gentleman on the patio shared that when he got on his knees, something happened. He felt the presence of God in a very special way. And one lady said she had an answer to prayer even before she made her way out of the worship center. I could go on and on.
So many of us were overwhelmed while on our knees, and it wasn’t some artificial, emotional outburst. The Holy Spirit moved in the midst of us. God is working in the lives of His children. Praise God for what He is doing at EFree Church!
